Samantha Oleschuk is an arts leader, art writer, and creative aging specialist based in western North Carolina. She holds a B.A. in Art and Visual Culture with a concentration in Art Management from Appalachian State University.
As an arts leader, I work to align creative practice with community impact. Bringing vision, care, and strategy to the arts sector, I’m passionate about building collaborative infrastructures, crafting intergenerational art experiences, and creating spaces where meaningful, community-driven work can thrive.

I write about contemporary art with clarity, curiosity, and a commitment to artists’ voices. My writing appears in regional outlets, and I specialize in exhibition reviews, artist profiles, and contextual essays.

With a background in both research and program design, I specialize in creative aging initiatives that center older adults as artists, collaborators, and cultural contributors. I develop and support arts programs that foster connection, lifelong learning, and creative exploration — always with an emphasis on accessibility, dignity, and joy.

I’m open to freelance projects across writing, research, exhibitions, outreach, and interdisciplinary collaborations — especially those that explore the intersection of arts, well-being, and community.
